During the 90’s, the artist continued the study on matter, with a smooth merger between abstract concepts and elements of tangible reality; the reality examined by Gravante is the Old City of Galatina, where the Baroque triumphs. After extracting some architectural elements, with an increasingly distinct dedication to stone sculptures, he realizes sculptures that seem to vibrate to the passage of light on their surface.
